Here are a few I posted today on my @tutormentorteam Twitter account:
I've focused on helping great youth #tutor #mentor programs be available in more places for 25 years. Thus, I focus on talent & resources. What might be a #TippingPoint? Take a look. https://t.co/rEj0LgqQVk pic.twitter.com/ghgZY4AtrD— Daniel Bassill (@tutormentorteam) January 13, 2020
Here's another
It's #NationalMentoringMonth and #povertyawarenessmonth It's a good time to think about the meaning of terms #tutor & #mentor in context of who is being served. https://t.co/h7RHzldsS1 pic.twitter.com/3Rex5MUDyS— Daniel Bassill (@tutormentorteam) January 13, 2020
And another
In this article I describe an eLearning strategy that I've followed since the early 2000s to try to connect the #tutor #mentor ecosystem, including donors, researchers, etc. in on-line interaction. https://t.co/iSGxT5luCJ#NationalMentoringMonth pic.twitter.com/1Q36U8Qh7p— Daniel Bassill (@tutormentorteam) January 13, 2020
And another
In the 1990s I often walked people through my maps and strategy graphics. I realized they were not understanding the ideas so I started creating ppts to try to convey the messages. Now many of these are in PDF format on Scribd and Slideshare. Take your time getting to know them. pic.twitter.com/9TT9sZGRw5— Daniel Bassill (@tutormentorteam) January 13, 2020
I've written many articles encouraging universities and/or high schools to create student leadership groups who study my blog articles, websites, and Tweets, and then create their own interpretations of what I'm saying. Here's a video showing some student interns who have done this in the past.
Visit this page and see a collection of visualizations created by interns between 2006 and 2015.
Imagine finding a collection of student-created presentations like this on a high school, college and/or fraternity web site in the future. That's my goal. Let me know if I can help you.
