Food for Thought - Grocery Stores in Chicago area
Mike Trakan (he works for the Tutor/Mentor Connection) posted a new set of maps on his blog, showing grocery store chains serving the Chicago region. These are part of a series of business maps we've created. They are intended to be used as planning tools by corporate leaders, to use their resources and assets (people, jobs, dollars, technology) to PULL kids through school and into jobs.
Check his blog, or the Tutor/Mentor Connection Map Gallery, and you can see maps for
* banks,
* insurance companies,
* hospitals,
* universities,
* faith groups
Here's an essay titled "role of leaders" that we'd hope is being used in each of these business sectors.
