Search Google for "tutor mentor" along with any word from the cloud tag below:
On the first page of the search results you'll find two to three articles from this blog or one of my other web sites, pointing to an article related to that search.
I and six other volunteers formed the Tutor/Mentor Connection (T/MC)* in 1993, with this mission:
The mission of the Tutor/Mentor Connection (T/MC) is to gather and organize all that is known about successful non-school tutoring/mentoring programs and apply that knowledge to expand the availability and enhance the effectiveness of these services to children throughout the Chicago region.
Since then I've built a huge web library and posted more than 1000 articles, just on this blog. A few days ago I wrote an article titled "Who Should be Looking at the Tutor/Mentor Blog?" and said "Anyone who cares about what is happening in their city."
Thus, anyone can be doing web searches and finding articles and ideas they can use in their own learning, group discussions, planning and actions.
*I created the Tutor/Mentor Institute, LLC in 2011 to continue the Tutor/Mentor Connection in Chicago and to help similar intermediaries grow in other cities. If you read and share these articles, you are helping me achieve this purpose.
