We never met while you taught at a Cabrini-Green school & I was leading a #tutor #mentor program serving those same kids. I hope you'll look at ideas I've been sharing. https://t.co/4jkGpwbUl1 pic.twitter.com/RXNQ6Nl7TX
Let me join the list of people offering advice for #Chicago's new #Mayor & his planning team. https://t.co/AVRCrezmgB

I shared similar w past mayors, too. None dug deeply into the ideas or put them into strategy. Maybe this time.... pic.twitter.com/rWlMETedgg

I've invited leaders to study strategies & resources I've aggregated since 1990s but recognize how little time they have to do this. So I've outlines steps where college students could do the research. Read https://t.co/P5FknVIa8T pic.twitter.com/v9xhsq26Hd

In 2022 leaders began to go back to in-person. I hope new #Chicago #Mayor blends in virtual meetings as on-going strategy. pic.twitter.com/w3EVT5WKkZ
As you think of ways to help a few kids from #birthtowork consider all the places in #Chicago & other places where thousands of K-12 kids need this support. https://t.co/r0ApWo5tdl #EasterSunday pic.twitter.com/CGrsjgq3K3

The challenges facing big city #Mayors are complex and deeply rooted. Solutions need to be like a cavalry charge, spread across many issues and every zip code. #Maps are a tool for understanding, planning & accountability. https://t.co/D9c7QjAb8r pic.twitter.com/RLP2LzPZ6j

I hope a few people will read this and then share it so others will also take a look. Then, I hope some people will say, "I can do that, too!" and "I can do that better." Or, "I can create my own version of these articles and apply them to my city instead of Chicago".
That is my goal. Until there are more people in Chicago and other places writing a similar blog, hosting a website like www.tutormentorexchange.net, and sharing on social media, we just won't have enough attention or enough people applying these ideas to create a better future.
Enjoy your week. There's much work to do.
