Youth murders up; money for CPS program in doubt

I encourage you to read this article on Catalyst Chicago's web site showing that the Chicago Public School Culture of Calm program is barely getting off the ground as its funding runs dry.

This program has spent more than $10 million to help less than 250 of Chicago's highest risk youth. Imagine if Tutor/Mentor Connection had just a million dollars a year to help youth in every high poverty neighborhood have better access to non-school tutor/mentor programs.
