Here's a few more
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Chicago. @BBBSChi I point to the map on their site that shows site-based locations.
Map shows locations of site-based mentoring offered by @BBBSChi Great to see programs in NW Indiana. I've tried to locate #tutor #mentor programs in that area for many years,. Can't find much. Here's BBBS map. https://t.co/IyDgU0TZet pic.twitter.com/M0YGcQ9GQG— Daniel Bassill (@tutormentorteam) February 12, 2019
Horizons for Youth @HorizonsFY
@HorizonsFY web site provides extensive information about work they do with #Chicago youth. https://t.co/n58wexsSfD I've had them in #tutor #mentor program database for 20 years. pic.twitter.com/GjDEDp6Mfl— Daniel Bassill (@tutormentorteam) February 11, 2019
Highsight @HighSightChi
@HighSightChi has been one of strongest supporters of Tutor/Mentor Connection over past 25 years. They hosted our conferences three times in early 2000s. Visit their web site and see work they do. https://t.co/wCghsUmQrW pic.twitter.com/qHGYvgySMb— Daniel Bassill (@tutormentorteam) February 11, 2019
I also pointed to a presentation I created to show things I'd like to see on every tutor/mentor program web site. Few include most of this. Thus, donors will need to encourage it, and provide funds for the work of collecting data and updating sites.
I post info about #Chicago #tutor #mentor orgs to help volunteers, parents & donors find them, and to help them connect & learn from each other. They each need to be great! In this pdf I show info I'd like to see on all youth org web sites. https://t.co/zpSAA4wjYF pic.twitter.com/FHSRGT5BC5— Daniel Bassill (@tutormentorteam) February 12, 2019
I'm just one person, with no source of income, so need others to help do this work. That was message in this Tweet
I'm just one person, so what I can do to draw attention, ideas & resources to more than 200 #tutor #mentor orgs in #Chicago & others around USA is limited. However, if other do as I do, we can dramatically increase support for many orgs in many places. https://t.co/OB9Wy1JE1B— Daniel Bassill (@tutormentorteam) February 12, 2019
Please help if you can.
