Building on-line communities of practice

On Thursday evening I was a participant in a SEA-Chicago event held at the Groupon headquarters in Chicago. More than 125 people attended. My role was to introduce this group to the Social Capital World Forum2012 and a network of social innovators from around the world who were participating via a live feed and a Twitter chat.

I've been connecting daily, sharing ideas and learning from this extraordinary group of people via several Facebook groups for more than a year.
